"How can i get fair skin" is the hot question of fair complexion issue that mostly asked in Asian beauty saloons. People want to get fair skin without any gender discrimination. Let's check out some herbal treatment to get fair skin or fair complexion.

Understand skin Pigment
First you need to understand the color of your skin – the fairness or darkness – is determined by the amount of a certain pigment, called melanin, in your skin. The melanin production in the skin decides how fair or dark our skin looks. The melanin level in the skin is dictated by several factors – heredity, exposure to sunlight, and skin disorders. Out of these, heredity is the most important factor in determining skin color. Therefore, it is important to understand that all of us are born with a particular skin color and it is not possible to experience a complete change of skin color. There may be a few home remedies that can help lighten the skin tone and make it fairer a bit, but the changes are gradual and it takes pretty long. Still, it is better to avoid expecting a drastic change when it comes to skin color. It is beneficial to understand that healthy skin is far more desirable than fair skin.

treatment for oily skin

The treatment of Oily skin basically based on your living and surroundings. It's all about opting the healthy life style according to skin type. As dermatologist and beauty consultant, i can say oily skin is blessing for you. This is not a joke just a reminder for those who has oily skin that can make you feel like an eternal teenager. Let's discuss some problems for oily skin and their easy treatment.

First you need to understand the basics of oily skin...

Understand the basics of Oily Skin?
Oily skin occurs when the sebaceous glands are over-active and produce excessive oil. It can potentially clog pores and attract bacteria causing frequent breakouts. Don't believe your mum when she says chocolate makes it worse - diet plays much less of a role in oily skin than your genes and hormones. Try vitamin B2 supplement if you want to make sure you're getting enough nutrients.

Overstimulation of the skin, such as too much product or harsh treatments that upset the balance of the skin's acid mantle, can lead to excess sebum production. Stimulants such as heat and steam rooms, coffee and red wine may also aggravate oily skin.

Do you have Oily skin?
You'll know if you've got oily skin because it has a shiny, greasy appearance which can reappear quite quickly after washing or using make-up. Large pores or 'orange peel skin' can also indicate oily skin as can a predisposition to blackheads andspots. The good news is that oily skin is slower to show wrinkles and fine lines - so you'll look younger for longer. Woohoo!

The bad news is that if it is left on the skin, oil can be susceptible to oxidation (triggered by environmental factors such as UV rays and car exhausts) and when oil is oxidised it is damaging to skin. (The black part of a blackhead is sebum oxidising on the surface of the skin.) Bacteria thrives in a sebum-rich environment and infection is more likely - leading to blemishes.

T-Zone
Often oily skin can be found in the T-zone area (forehead, nose and chin) and this is often referred to as combination skin. If this sounds like you, use two different moisturisers - one that balances sebum for the T-zone itself, perhaps something with tea tree oil in it to fight blemishes, and another richer formulation for dehydrated areas, such as the cheeks or neck.

Home remedies for Oily skin
  • Make paste of fresh tomatoes and apply this paste on oily areas of your face and leave this paste on your face for half an hour and wash it off.
  • Take some honey, lemon juice and an egg. Separate egg white from egg and mix it in lemon juice and honey and make a paste. Add some basin in the paste and apply this honey mask on face and leave it for 20 minutes on your face and wash it off.
  • Take some yogurt and fuller’s earth. Mix these things in normal quantities and apply on face. This will help you to control oil on your skin.
  • Take a raw papaya and make pulp of it. Apply on face and wash it off after 20 minutes. It will soften all dead skin cells and control oil.
  •  Wash your face with cold water minimum 5 times a day and drink plenty of water to control this problem. Drink 8-10 glasses of water in a day.
Best Cleanser for Oily Skin
The best cleanser for oily skin lives in your kitchen that can heal your face with fresh look. Use a bunch of fresh mints and boil it in 1/2 kg of water and safe this solution in your fridge and use it daily especially in summers 2 to 3 times. For rapid action, you can also drink it as it carrying antioxidants and blood purifying ingredients that will keep your skin clean from inside. Keep away from confectionery items and fried foods during this usage. It will give you guaranteed results.

Oily skin can also be dehydrated so you still need moisturiser. Look for an oil-free moisturiser - a product that is light and doesn't sit on the surface of the skin and isn't too rich or heavy.

Look out for antiseptic and gentle ingredients such as tea tree, lavender, peppermint, lemon and rosemary and, again, those balancing ingredients like rose geranium, benzoin and chamomile. You should still use an eye cream, even with oily skin, as eyes are prone to dehydration and wrinkles.

Types of skin: Oily, Dry, Normal, Sensitive

It's very essential to understand the types of skin that vary from person to person. Proper skin treatment adopted after determining the skin type.
