Explore Your Leadership Qualities

Am I Leader - Explore your leadership qualities is the road map that takes you on the road of success to enhance your vision and instincts to explore your own leadership qualities. People are passionate to know about their Leadership qualities but they don't have any specific tool to gauge the metrics. Leadership is basically a person's ability to perform with prudent action according to situations that people loves to follow. Various well known leaders have become history now to whom we can get lessons to sharpen our own leadership skills and qualities.

I would agree with the statement that good leaders are made not born. If you have the desire and will power, you can become an effective leader. Good leaders develop through a never ending process of self-study, education, training, and experience. An effective and true leader create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision and relentlessly drive it to completion.

Explore your power and instincts
To tackle and explore your leadership instincts, you need to concise and vivid to understand your requirement and objectives. You level of integrity counts a lot, your values are your assets and people trust is the centrifugal point of your prudence.

Various reasons and situations effects on person's quality that prove it as "Leader". We all believe, IQ is important but more than we believe Emotional intelligence and power is the most prime part of person's personality. If you want to explore your inside then ask and analyse few questions:
Q.1  How do you react in particular situations?
Q. 2 How much time do you take to make decisions?
Q. 3 Do you think only for yourself or for others?
Q. 4 Do people agree with your decisions?
Q. 5 How do you lead the people in a group?
Q. 6 How do you want to act in a group of people?
Q. 7 How do you react if somebody don't agree with you?
Q. 8 Where do you think ? In present, past for in future
Q. 9 Do you have capacity to solve issues and matters
Q.10 Do people love you in your surroundings?

These are the most common questions that you can ask with yourself and i hope there would be some rapid answers in your mind without any exaggerations. If there is some negative replies that you think should not be like that so you can improve as these self analysis gives you room to polish yourself and to improvise your vision for leadership and success.

Few more questions that can ask to improvise your vision towards leadership:
Q.1 Am i Dedicated?
Q.2 Am i committed to my task?
Q.3 Why do i want to accomplish this task?
Q.4 Do i have a lack of magnanimity?
Q.5 What is the level of my assertiveness
Q.6 How much openness should i bear?
Q.7 Do i believe on open communication?
Q.8 What things inspire me?
Q.9 Do i think with innovation?
Q.10 How much creativity can i extend?

For a good leader the most important quality is the "Sense of humor" which makes him/her distinguishable from others. Normally people think that leaders are out of humor but this is not true. A sense of humor is vital to relieve tension and boredom, as well as to defuse hostility. Effective leaders know how to use humor to energize followers. Humor is a form of power that provides some control over the work environment. And simply put, humor fosters good camaraderie.

How do I Meditate

Meditation is all about to apply techniques for mind relaxation and to improve mental energy. I believe that is not an intellectual activity, but an attempt to expand our consciousness and be aware of our ‘real sense of being. Meditation can be a practical tool for relaxation, concentration and better health; it can also be an invaluable tool to self discovery. Through meditation we develop the capacity to be content with ourselves as we are. It is a happiness not dependent on external wealth and success. If practiced correctly, meditation can be a powerful antidote to depressive thoughts.

Numerous studies have shown that meditation has health benefits. Many of these benefits are related to the decrease in stress that occurs through meditation. For example, with lower levels of stress and anxiety, the probability of heart disease diminishes significantly.
This is not to say meditation guarantees you good health. But, there is a growing awareness of the link between our state of mind and physical health. Quite often physical ailments are symptoms of inner turmoil. Meditation can give us peace of mind, and this can be a helpful step in avoiding many stress related ailments. Meditation has also been shown to relieve the pain associated with certain illnesses.

Understand Mudra Yoga With Benefits of Mudra

A mudra is a body posture or symbolic gesture. In Buddhist iconography every buddha is depicted with a characteristic gesture of the hands. Such gestures correspond to natural gestures (of teaching, protecting, and so on) and also to certain aspects of the Buddhist teaching or of the particular buddha depicted. Here mudras accompany the performance of liturgies and the recitation of mantras. They also help to actualize certain inner states in that they anticipate their physical expression; thus they assist in bringing about a connection between the practitioner and the buddha visualized in a given practice.

The physical body is made up of five elements namely - Air, Water, Fire, Earth and Aakash. Imbalance of these elements disrupts the immunity system and causes disease. Deficiencies in any of these elements can be made up by connecting one part of the body with another in a particular manner through Mudras.

Mudras can be practiced at any time and anywhere but it effectively helps if one is in a good mood and in the right ambience. Then there will be no blocks to the easy flow of energy. Several serious practitioners do their Mudra ritual a few minutes before falling asleep and a few minutes before getting out of bed. But that is not really important. You can do them any time but it will yield good result if you focus to do it in same time frame. Like; if you do it on Monday, 07A.M then it must be on another day same time. In this way, you will get more benefits as your body clock will adjust according to the Mudra practice.

Mudras are basically categorized in following types:
  1. General
  2. Therapeutic or Healing
  3. Spiritual or Meditative Mudras
Mudras are generally practiced in empty stomach. They could be practiced in many different ways by joining the finger tips with the thumb tip or by folding the finger at the base of the thumb etc. depending upon whether the practitioner wishes to increase, decrease or balance a particular element in the body. They can be practiced with one or both hands. Mudras can be practiced any time of the day at any place. Most of the mudras should preferably be practiced in sitting position with spine straight but they could also be done in standing, lying down or walking if instructed by the therapist or teacher to do so.

How to be in Love with Yourself

Love is the power that make you understand about yourself. Knowing how to love yourself is extremely important. Self love is at the very core of wellbeing, joy, self-empowerment, and your ability to create and enjoy the kind of life you want. You cannot enjoy happiness if you are not at peace with yourself. Y

“I don’t like myself – I’m crazy about myself!” -
Mae West

our relationship with yourself is the most important one you’ll ever have. From the spiritual perspective, it is by turning your attention inward to yourSelf that you are able to experience your connection with Life, with God, with All That Is. From the human perspective, every relationship you ever have with someone else exactly mirrors one or more aspects of the relationship you have with yourself.

I always pray to my Allah,
Dear God,
Please help me to be kind to myself.
To be gentle with my thoughts and feelings. I know that the more I can love myself ...
And the more honest I can be With my own emotions ...
The freer I can be
To love and give joy to others.

Be in love with Yourself
Think about what makes you You. Just like a flower that needs watering to grow, learn to nurture yourself in every way. Love yourself for all the good that you see and accept your flaws and the fact that you are imperfect. This does not mean that you do not learn to change from your shortcomings; instead, you are being gentle and kind to yourself despite all your “flaws”. Look in the mirror and fall in love with the reflection that is You.

Bring Postivity in Youself
Everyday. Reframe your mind with positive affirmations. For instance, say this to yourself “I love and accept myself completely and unconditionally.” Read your affirmations out loud several times a day.

Be Kind with Yourself
When you start to think kindly and positively about yourself, the love you have for yourself just grows. Make it a habit to praise yourself everyday, while in the front of the mirror. Because of such thoughts, you naturally undertake empowering actions that support your development.

Self-love is not opposed to the love of other people. You cannot really love yourself and do yourself a favor without doing people a favor, and vice versa.”

Karl Augustus Menninger

Grow Spiritually inside Yourself
When you spend time growing spiritually, loving yourself becomes automatic. You become more peaceful, connected, kind, loving and compassionate. You nurture a mind that grows more beautiful by the day. You naturally love yourself in the process.

Nurture Yourself with Powerful Dreams
Why deny yourself your dreams? When you nurture your dreams, you would love the life that you are leading. Every moment that you live is a joy because you are expressing yourself fully.

Boost Your Self Confidence
Make a deliberate attempt to look for opportunities that can help improve your confidence. For instance, if you are particularly good at doing something, set aside more time to indulge and improve your skills on it. Knowing that you have particular gifts can boost your self esteem.

Learn To See Beauty inside Yourself
When you learn to see beauty in every thing, you will also see beauty in yourself. Hence, stop to smell the flowers. Notice everything. Feel everything. The pink blush of the flowers in your garden, the greenness of the plains, the whisper of the gentle wind, or the myriad hues of an evening sky.

My imperfections and failures are as much a blessing from God as my successes and my talents and I lay them both at his feet.”
Mahatma Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

Be Truthful To Yourself
Loving yourself requires you to be truthful about your own feelings. If you are happy, acknowledge the joy. If you are sad, acknowledge the sorrow. When you are truthful about your feelings, you do not try to lie to yourself or seek to bury your negative emotions. Instead, acknowledging what you feel provides a good guide to what your thoughts are. And as we all know, thoughts can be changed, so that healing and self growth can take place.

Forgive Yourself
If you have made mistakes in the past that had caused you to feel less worthy, then you need to forgive yourself. All of us make mistakes; so there really is no need to beat yourself up over them. Also, if you have been carrying around a baggage of emotional hurt because of a childhood trauma, learn to forgive yourself.

Trust Yourself
Have confidence in your abilities. Know that you have the ability to make important changes for yourself, for as long as you put your heart to it. You can also support yourself by visualizing desired outcomes.

“You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.”
Siddhartha Guatama Buddha

Express Gratitude to make Yourself Humble
Express gratitude for the person that you are. For instance, cultivate an appreciation for your strengths and gifts. Also, feel a sense of gratitude that you are alive and well, and fully capable of making a difference in your life.

Learn one's own capacities and do not get angry at one's inability to live up to things that are not realistic for one's own abilities. Many times these things may become possible as one gets older, or they may simply be impossible. Personally not planning on ever becoming a millionaire. Not fair is it? It may help to accept the world the way one finds it and not create anger by having unrealistic expectations. Be remember, Anger is one letter short of danger, it kills you and your surrounding people belonging of personal and professional level so little practice will make you more controlled person.
